Extroverted introvert is some one who is introverted, yet outgoing. While they don't prefer small talk like most introverts, they don't mind the occasional chit-chat. If you are thinking extroverted introverts are introverts who don't accept their introvert nature, you are wrong. They are not just trying to blend in as extroverts. They are introverts with some extrovert characters. Some people even consider them ambiverts. Extroverted introverts can be considered as more social introverts. While they are introverted, that doesn't stop them from going out, and occasionally socializing. Which all seems like scary adventures to most introverts out there. Then how can you spot an extroverted introvert? To be honest this can be quite tricky.

 1. They are often mistaken for an extrovert

Like in the case of introverts who blend into the crowd, extroverted introverts are also hard to spot. As their level of introversion is usually low, they seem comfortable in an environment as long as it is not over-simulated. This leads to them being mistaken for an extrovert.

2. Unlike most introverts, they might even initiate a conversation with another person

While initiating a conversation is something an introvert wouldn't voluntarily do in most cases, an extroverted introvert is more likely to initiate one. They usually initiate a conversation if they find another person intriguing. And have a feeling, that conversation could lead to some interesting topics.

3.While They are social than most introverts, they do crave solitude

Extroverted introverts can be a bit tricky to spot as we mentioned earlier. But this is one interesting trait that makes them stand out.

Introverted extroverts disappear from overstimulating environments for short periods then reappear as if nothing happened. This is oftentimes not even noticed by others. Extroverted introverts use this time to recharge themselves for continuing in that social situation.

4. They love going out with friends they are comfortable with

This is another trait that makes extroverted introvert different from the usual introvert. While most introverts try their best to stay out of social situations. An extroverted introvert will even propose the idea of going out if they are feeling recharged. This most often happens after they get some time to themselves.

5. People easily open up to them

This is one talent most extroverted introverts possess. Though they are not keen at making small talk, they don't mind the occasional chit-chat, as it leads others to open up about themselves. Other's find extroverted introverts as charming, genuinely caring individuals and comfortably open up to them.

6. People take extroverted introverts for the mysterious type

This could be mostly due to their occasional vanishing act. Like we said before, extroverted introverts take small breaks from crowds to recharge themselves. These sudden disappearances might be contributing to the mysterious person image. I personally don't mind being thought of as the mysterious one.

7. People consider them good leaders

By having the analytical mindset of an introvert combined with their capacity for being social, extroverted introverts are often thought of as exceptional leaders. And their ability to deeply connect with members of their team also makes them better at it.

In short, it is safe to say that being an extroverted introvert comes with a lot of perks. If these traits are relatable for you, congrats you are probably an extroverted introvert. Let us know what you find most interesting being an extroverted introvert in the comments below.

Me, I didn't even know I am supposed to be. Thanks for making me realise the advantages of being one. Looking forward to seeing more on this topic. You just got another subscriber.
